"Complete way of Martial Art"

Sun Do SulHistory and Origin of Sun Do Sul No matter where they lived, people in the primitive age had to develop personal. skills to fight, in order to obtain land, food, and defend themselves against their enemies, including animals.

Since the beginning of history, man has been driven to create a better mind and body, much more so in the past 5000 years. Physically they trained to have healthier and stronger bodies to create longevity of life as well as self-defense, but without good piece of mind, this is an impossible task. So many trained to develop their minds, which is the most powerful thing in this world. This training has continued throughout the centuries. There was a man named Woon Bong Sun Sa who studied the old secret of martial arts and lived his life on a mountain farm. He trained in the mountain temple to develop this old secret martial art style, which was only descended down by martial artists who trained to develop these special secret skills for strong mind and body, so they were able to conquer all situations. He meditated every day to gain peace of mind so that he could live a happier and longer life. He was a spiritual scholar, moral educator, and he is the founder of the Sun Mu Art. Woon Bong Sun Sa died in 1963, at the age of 105.

Under him, there was only one man who studied with him for over 17 years in the mountain temple. He lived with him to study this old secret martial art. This was not known to many martial artists. The pupil of this spiritual art and heritage was Grandmaster Young Yun Cho. Grandmaster Young Yun Cho, who came down to civilian life after his Master's death, began to demonstrate his art to many people, and at the same time, he was looking for the next generation of martial artists. As he came to America to demonstrate, he met Master Choi. He decided to descend his art to Master Choi, where Master Choi learned and lived with him for over 7 years. Master Choi added special techniques that he learned with Supreme Grandmaster Duk Lee in Korea to create better health and protection from others. But the main reason, was to create better piece of mind and to help create better humans in the world. With the help and teachings of Grandmaster Young Yun Cho and Supreme Grandmaster Duk Lee, Master Choi had developed and created a new art called Sun Do Sul. Master Choi is not only the next inheritance of Sun Mu Art, but also the creator and founder of Sun Do Sul.
